Can appeal to:
- The civil division of the Court of Appeal;
- The High Court
- The County Court

Permission to appeal is required:
Where the appeal is from a decision of a judge in the County Court or the HC or judge from the
family court.
Exceptions:
- A committal order;
- A refusal to grant habeas corpus;
- Secure accommodation order.


Application for permission to appeal may be made:
- To the lower court at the hearing at which the decision to be appealed was made or any adjournment of that hearing
