Technical Attributes
Attribute Rating out of 10 Comments
First Touch 6 Cain’s first touch is above average, as he can
usually control the ball well when it’s passed on
the ground, but he struggles more when it’s
passed to him in the air because he can’t adjust
quick enough.
Standing Tackle 5 Most of the time Cain dives into standing
challenges while a player is up against him 1 v 1,
this is because he tries to anticipate the play
without standing the player up.
Sliding Tackle 5 As Cain is a midfielder, most occasions it isn’t
necessarily to slide tackle, therefore he doesn’t
need to do it very often. However, when he makes
a recovery run and commits a slide tackle, half of
the time he wins the ball. This affects him being
average in this attribute.
Long Shots 8 He’s shooting is a very strong asset for himself
and for his team. With the use of his good
accuracy and power he finds himself shooting on
target most of the time. This is very good for his
position.
Close Range 8 This is one of the strongest technical attributes
Finishing that Cain has. He has a very high chance in
scoring a goal from a close range because he
keeps his composure and uses a variety of shots
in order to put the ball past the keeper.
Long Passing 7 This attribute is key for his position. He manages
to successfully complete a long pass, this is
because he passes the ball with great accuracy
and the correct weight on the pass. He also uses a
variation of passes, such as outside foot, driven
pass or floated pass.
Short Passing 8 This is a simple technical attribute that is a key
point in his position. His technique is good and he
, uses this attribute very well. He can pass very
accurately to his teammates. It’s mostly performed
to high quality, at times he needs to learn to pass
the ball a bit quicker because there were times
when the pass got intercepted or he got tackled.
Attacking 3 Cain’s attacking headers are below average..
Headers Firstly he doesn’t win many headers because of
his size, he struggles in the air when he battles for
it, against tall defenders/midfielders. Nearly all of
his headers are weak and end with the ball going
back to the opposition’s midfielders.
Defensive 2 His defensive heading technique is bad. He
headers doesn’t win many headers in the air. As well as
that his headers are weak, this means that he
doesn’t clear the ball most of the time when he
wins the defensive header, this typically ends with
the attacking team having a chance to score.
Blocking 4 He jumps in the way of a powerful shot, or a long
range pass very well. Sometimes he tries to
anticipate the shot or long pass a bit too quickly,
when the opposition completes a fake pass or
shot. Cain usually jumps with his back turned to
the ball and the opposition’s player simply dribbles
past him and creates a chance for his team.
Free Kicks 6 Cain is good at getting the ball over or around the
wall and on target. This means his accuracy is
great when it comes to dead ball situations. But he
lacks in generating power on his free kicks, which
means that the keeper can easily catch it.
Dribbling 7 Cain is very good at dribbling, that’s another key
technical attribute for a CM. He keeps the ball very
close to his feet and dribbles with speed into open
areas of play. But, when he has a lot of space to
run into he releases the ball a bit too far and a
player usually catches up and wins the ball.
1 on 1’s 7 Cain is very good at 1 on 1’s, he uses the right
technique to go past his opponents in attacking
situations. He only looks to take on a player when
he sees space behind the player, otherwise he will
try and pass the ball to other team mates to open
up play. This is because he doesn’t want to risk
losing the ball in tight spaces.
