Nierpapil = plek waar medulla overloopt naar een kelk
Nierpoort = plek waar structuren (vaten oid) het orgaan binnen gaan of verlaten
Urine wordt in de cortex en medulla gemaakt en verzamelt zich in de kelken naar de ureter.
