1. What type of conflict is described in the case study?
The type of conflict which is described in the case study is known as inter-organizational
conflict. According to the survey, different cities within the same county came together to form one unit
with the exact cause: searching, finding out, and destroying all the secret laboratories producing crystal

supervising and budgeting for the unit was made. Other towns also felt that large cities were imposing

other cities. Therefore, such an environment with different conflicting parties though with one aim is
inter-organizational conflict (Harmon, Kim, & Mayer, 2015).

discussed and by whom before such a team is created?
Before creating a unit of such a kind, the planners should observe whether this formation is
necessary. What should be examined first is the present situation of drug production and consumption.
In case all the counties in the case study cannot handle the drug situation alone based on their abilities,
it is understandable for all these counties to collaborate to eliminate this problem. After all, the
individuals that are dealing in selling and distributing drugs do the same thing. More so, it is expedient
to consider the agencies' ability to enforce the law in creating this kind of unit.
