The past year has been a difficult one for our employees and our patients. The current
public health emergency (PHE) has made life extremely difficult for many, and Pilot County
Hospital leadership recognizes how hard our employees are working to keep our patients
healthy and safe. Leadership understands and sincerely hopes that the PHE will not continue;
our employees are our most valued asset, and we want to ensure that we are meeting your
needs during this time. Thus, the hospital has completed an employee Engagement Survey to
understand employees' sentiment better. Employee engagement surveys are a way to
determine how or if employees feel valued at their organization ("Employee Engagement
Survey," 2021). Our results have shown that we have several areas in which we will
