Section 1: Scope and Descriptive Statistics

Pastas R Us, Inc thought of creating a loyalty card to incentivize customers to return more

often to their establishments. Their marketing plan aimed at rolling out a loyalty card strategy to

increase sales. "Under this program, customers present their loyalty card when paying for their

orders and receive some free food after making 10 purchases." Looking through the different

variables, the company wants to analyze to see if their marketing plan is doing what it was put in

place to do. This paper will go over the different relationships between the variables to see

which items have the most significant impact on the company.

The variables observed are the following: sales per person, sales growth, Loyalty Card,

square feet, Sales/SqFt., median income, Bachelor's degree, median age, and Annual sales. The

Database variables are the same size. The main variables analyzed in this case include the

Sales/SqFt, the Sales Growth, Loyalty Card, the Median Age, Bachelor's Degree, and the

determined Annual Sales.

The scatter plots and regression analysis equation of the various combinations was

completed. The analysis results show that the bachelor’s degree is increasingly positive on the

sales/SqFt. The Medium income does not affect the Sales/SqFt, along the loyalty card is harming

the growth of the sales as the years move along the scatter plots and the regression equations seen

below. Moreover, the mean, standard deviation, skew, 5-number summary, and interquartile

range for each variable were determined using SPSS, and the result tabulated.
