, Samenvatting
Het doel van deze PO is om het verband tussen de spankracht en trillingssnelheid te
ontdekken. Onze onderzoeksvraag is: “Wat is het kwantitatieve verband tussen de
golfsnelheid en de spankracht in een gespannen koord”. Vervolgens willen we met dit
verband een eigen formule opstellen waar het verband tussen de spankracht en
golfsnelheid in voorkomt. De methode waarmee we dit verband willen achterhalen is de
Proef van Melde. Door bepaalde variabelen constant te houden en andere te
veranderen verwachten we het verband tussen de spankracht en de golfsnelheid te
vinden. We verwachten dat uit het onderzoek zal blijken dat de functie van de
spankracht op de golfsnelheid een wortelverband is. Dit zal zo zijn omdat uit al onze
bronnen blijkt dat de spankracht in de wortel van de golfsnelheid uitgedrukt is, waardoor
er een wortelverband aanwezig zal zijn. De resultaten van de proef kwamen overeen
met onze hypothese, dus deze bleek uiteindelijk aanneembaar te zijn.
