offer, and reflect on the recruitment and selection process on my individual performance.
Recruiting the right people is essential to the success of a business. It is important that the
processes and procedures involved in recruitment and selection meet the needs of the
business and comply with current regulations. I will be explaining what it takes for a
business to have a successful recruitment as it’s key to maintain the success of a business, as
people are often considered to be the most valued resource. I will be exploring the various
selection tools and the enhanced use of technology in this area.
History of Tesco –

first own-brand product sold, which Jack promised would bring unequalled value, was Tesco
Tea - before the company was called Tesco. The name came from the initials of TE
Stockwell, who was a partner in the firm of tea suppliers, and CO from Jack's surname.
Tesco has been operating for over 101 years. Since 1919 up in till 2020 and is still operating.
