Samenvatting biologie thema 1, regeling.Basisstof 1: regeling en homeostase.
Homeostase – het in stand houden van een dynamisch evenwicht in het inwendig milieu van een
organisme.
Normwaarde – genetische vastgestelde waarde in de hersenstam waaraan de diverse concentraties
stoffen (oplossingen) in het lichaam getoetst worden. Er zijn o.a. normwaarde voor de temperatuur
van het lichaam en de glucoseconcentratie in het bloed.
Dynamisch evenwicht – bepaald evenwicht dat verandert, maar uiteindelijk weer terugkeert naar
normaal niveau.
Regelkringen – systeem in je lichaam dat zorgt dat een bepaalde waarde rond de norm zal blijven.
Feedback processen zijn speciale regelkringen.
Een regelkring bestaat uit:
Een receptor (zintuigcel)
Conductoren (motorische- en sensorische zenuwen)
Controle centrum (in het centrale zenuwstelsel)
Effectoren (spieren of klieren).
Negatieve terugkoppeling – toename van resultaat zorgt voor remming van het proces.
Positieve terugkoppeling – toename van het resultaat versterkt het proces.
Uitwendig milieu – de omgeving. De samenstelling van dit milieu is niet constant. Inhoud van het
darmstelsel en de longen en het uitscheidingsstelsel behoren tot het uitwendig milieu.
Inwendig milieu – bloed en weefselvloeistof van een organisme. De samenstelling van dit milieu is
wel constant.
Basisstof 2: hormonale regulatie.
Signaalmoleculen – een signaalmolecuul of signaalstof is een chemische verbinding die informatie
tussen organismen, tussen cellen of tussen onderdelen binnen een cel
overdraagt.
Hormonen – signaalmoleculen die de cellen van hormoonklieren afgeven.
Hormonen worden geproduceerd in klieren, de zogenaamde
hormoonklieren. Hormonenzijn boodschapperstoffen. Hormonen worden
afgegeven aan het bloed en stromen door het lichaam langs alle cellen
van het lichaam.
Endocriene klieren – hormoonklier die de hormonen afgeeft aan het
bloed dat door de hormoonklier stroomt. Maken bijv. hormonen (altijd
inwendig milieu).
Secretie – de afgifte van hormonen door de hormoonklieren.
