La teologia de la llum. Tot alló que te mes o llum reflexa més, com l’or, esta mes a prop de la divinitat.
Entra la llum cromaticament diferent, vidrieres. L’arquitectura s’ha de iluminar per diferents bandes i
nivells i transformada. (tractament de la llum)
Es comença a reformar l’edifici amb la façana oest i la capçalera. Intenta transformar-ho amb un
sistema constructiu renovat amb un espai més gran i amb espai més ampli i mes llum.
Com a sistema basic utilitza l’arc de creueria. Es un arc apuntat que genera la volta.
En els peus posa una gran rosasa. Una finestra amb cristalls de colors.
A la capçalera les carregues van als murs / pilars i en deixa espai lliure per poder rebre la llum amb els
vitralls. Concentra les carregues en punts concrets.
L’absis funciona com un cos unitari, la capçalera es perfectament radial.

Opus francigerum = la manera francesa (gòtic)
El nom gòtic se li otorga de manera respectiva a partir del renaixement, a posteriori.
Cada vegada les catedrals van pujant en altura.
NOTRE – DAME DE REIMS
• Planta basilical tripartita.
• No te nartex entrada directa.
• Isotropia, el mateix sistema constructiu en tot l’edifici. Trams de volta. Esta molt recollit.
• El transcepte sobresurt molt poc.
• Capçalera radial, integra tot.
• La façana te tres portes, tipic. Façana molt treballada acabada amb dos torres que li donen
relevancia a la façana i li dona pes.
• El claristori ple de vitralls.
VOLTA DE CREUERIA
Cambia la forma respecta a la volta d’aresta. Aquesta te una elipse al centre en cambi la volta de
creueria té una deformació geometrica a causa dels arcs apuntats que el conformen. Quan es creuen
crean un cercle. Mes fàcil de construir i verticalitza molt més les càrregues.
La clau de volta, és un acord. Tanca els nervis.
Arc apuntat = arc ogival
Sistema molt perpendicular.
