1. In French the verb ‘aller’ is used in conjunction with the
infinitive of another verb to denote the future tense. It is
however called ‘le futur proche’ which means that it is
something that is going to happen in the near future. In
fact it usually means that you are about to do something.
So for example if you wanted to say that you were just
popping out to the shop you would use ‘le futur proche’: je
vais aller au magasin.
