Aardrijkskunde samenvatting 1.2Bevolkingsdichtheid en spreiding
De bevolkingsspreiding op de aarde laat zien dat de mensen onregelmatig verspreid
zijn. Op sommige plekken zijn er meer mensen dan op andere, maar wel is de
oppervlakte even groot. Er is dan sprake van een verschil in bevolkingsdichtheid.
De spreiding verklaard
De verklaring voor de bevolkingsspreiding is een mix van natuurlijke en
sociaaleconomische factoren:
1. De natuurlijke mogelijkheden
Denk aan vruchtbare bodems, beschikbaarheid van water, agrarische
mogelijkheid ook word het moeilijk als er veel bergen zijn ect.
2. De ligging
Denk aan gebieden die gunstig liggen ten opzichte van de economische
kerngebieden in de wereld, of het verbonden is met andere plekken en je
makkelijk van a naar b kan reizen. Steden hebben vaak een grote
bevolkingsdichtheid en plattelandsgebieden een kleine bevolkingsdichtheid.
3. Het koloniale verleden
In bijna alle gekoloniseerde gebieden concentreert de bevolkingsgebieden op
de kustgebieden, want vaak werden er goederen met boten vervoerd.
Diffusie is de verspreiding van een ruimtelijk verschijnsel (cultuurelement) vanuit
een kerngebied. Dit komt ook vaak voor in een cultuurgebied, dat is een gebied
