Mijn moeder is mijn naam vergeten,
Mijn kind weet nog niet hoe ik heet.
Hoe moet ik mij geborgen weten?
Noem mij, bevestig mijn bestaan,
Laat mijn naam zijn als een keten.
Noem mij, noem mij, spreek mij aan,
O, noem mij bij mijn diepste naam.
Voor wie ik liefheb, wil ik heten.
1) Er zijn acht versregels en drie strofen, de eerste strofe is een terzet, gevolgd door een
kwantrijn en als laatste nog één slotzin. Het gedicht heeft een eindrijm en een rijmvorm van
een volrijm. De woorden die rijmen zijn; vergeten-weten (versregel een en drie), bestaan-aan-
naam (versregel vier, zes en zeven) en keten-heten (versregel vijf en acht). Ook is er alliteratie,
‘’mijn moeder is mijn naam vergeten’’. Het gedicht heeft het rijmschema A-B-A-C, een gebroken
rijm.
2) Het gedicht is te volgen dus is het een open gedicht. Er zijn twee lastige woorden, geborgen
en keten. Het gaat erover dat ze de naam van zichzelf wil weten en dat haar moeder deze is
vergeten. Dit wil ze heel graag weten zodat ze haar bestaan kan bevestigen, ook zodat haar
