Shock : levensbedreigende aandoening door een tekort aan circulerend volume.
Niet genoeg circulerend vocht zorgt voor minder circulerend zuurstof. Dat is het
grootste probleem.
Soorten shock :
Hypovolemische shock: verlies van bloed en/of plasma
- Bloedverlies: hemorragische shock
- Overig: non-hemorragische shock
Cardiogene shock: veroorzaakt door het hart
- Hartinfarct
- Niet meer goed functioneren
Obstructieve shock: obstructie
- Oorzaak buiten hart om door obstructie
- Vocht/pus/bloed in pericard (tamponade)
- Tegen barricade oppompen
Distributieve shock : teveel vasodilatatie
- Sepsis: septische shock
- Allergie: anafylactische shock
- Neurologisch: neurogene shock
Compensatie:
- Adrenaline
