KwaliteitszorgEr zijn twee methodes om zicht te krijgen op kwaliteit in het onderwijs:
Audits: is een methodische manier van gegevens verzamelen, verwerken,
analyseren en rapporteren. Als het onderwerp kwaliteit is, spreek je van een
kwaliteitsaudit
Er zijn twee soorten audits:
interne audit: een interne audit doet de school middels de schoolleiding of
een kwaliteitsfunctionaris
externe audit: een externe audit is een uitbesteding aan deskundigen
buiten de school
Benchmarking: is het systematisch vergelijken van gegevens. Je kunt het
vrijuit vertalen naar referentiepunt of ijkpunt. De resultaten van benchmarking
moet je zien als een indicatie
Een kengetal: is een getal of percentage dat de feitelijke situatie weergeeft
Beperk je dus tot cijfers die verband houden met kwaliteit. Denk aan resultaten van
landelijke toetsen (totaal of per vak), verzuim door leerlingen, ziekteverzuim van
personeel, stijging of daling van het aantal leerlingen met een achterstand
Een tendens is een over een langere periode voortschrijdende voorwaartse of
neerwaartse lijn
Kwaliteitscontrole inspectie:
De Inspectie van het Onderwijs controleert namens de overheid de kwaliteit van het
onderwijs. Dat gebeurt op twee manieren:
Jaarlijkse prestatieanalyse
Vierjaarlijks onderzoek (middels een uitgebreid document ‘het
onderzoekskader’ voor voorschoolse educatie en primair onderwijs)
