Beatrice= Eigenlijk de belangrijkste hoofdpersoon is Beatrice, zij is de troonopvolger en niet
zomaar 1, maar de eerste vrouwelijke troonopvolger en ze gaat dus ook de eerste koning
van Amerika worden. Haar leven draait om het leiden van Amerika, maar als haar ouders
huwelijkskandidaten gaan uitzoeken wordt het lastig, moet ze haar hart en gevoel volgen of
kiezen wat voor Amerika goed is?
Samantha= De eerste reserve is Prinses Samantha, de jongere zus van Beatrice. Zij is een
deugniet en geeft niet zo om wat Amerika van haar denkt. Ze gaat veel naar feestje en houdt
van jongens. Maar die ene jongen die haar hart sneller laat kloppen is een
huwelijkskandidaat van Beatrice en toevallog vindt Beatrice hem ook een leuke jongen.
Jefferson= Prins Jefferson, de tweelingbroer van Samantha is de tweede reserve. Hij is heel
geliefd bij het Amerikaanse volk en alle meiden vechten om hem. Maar hij weet al voor wie
hij kiest ook al is er iemand anders die ontzettend haar best doet.
Nina= Nina is een ‘gewoon’ burgermeisje en de beste vriendin van Samantha. Ze is een
bescheiden meisje en houdt niet van de spotlights maar als ze verliefd wordt op prins
Jefferson veranderd dat laatste.
