Mestcellen
1. Mestcellen kunnen invloed uitoefenen op de doorlaatbaarheid van het celmembraan
van de fibroblast
2. Bij infectie of beschadiging zorgt de mestcel voor meer activiteit in de fibroblast
Vetcellen
1. Opslaan van vet (brandstof voor de fibroblast)
2. Bescherming, ze kunnen veel drukkracht opvangen (ze liggen vooral rond
zenuwbanen)
Mobiele cellen:
Macrofagen
1. Macrofagen zorgen voor fagocytose. Fagocytose is het afbreken van stoffen.
2. De macrofagen breken vooral bindweefsel eigen stoffen af. Dus de slechte stukken
van het weefsel
Leukocyten
1. Hoofdzakelijk immuunsysteem, voor afweer van lichaamsvreemde stoffen
2. Een heel klein deel ook fagocytose
Iedere cel is in staat om stofwisseling te hebben
