9. Melodie
Een melodie is horizontaal, je hoort de tonen na elkaar
- Motief: • terugkerend guur
• bestaat uit 2 of meer noten
• op verschillende manieren te verwerken
- Herhaling:
1. Ostinato -> herhaling gaat lange tijd door, ritmisch of melodisch
2. Sequens -> motief wordt aantal keer herhaald in een andere toonsoort
- Transpositie: herhaling op een andere toonhoogte
- Variatie: herhaling met een verandering
- Contrast -> tegenstelling, verschillende manieren:
- tempo, ritme, melodie, dynamiek instrumentatie
- Ri : motief dat zich herhaald, komt uit jazz,blues en pop
- Thema: herkenbare muziekale zin, komt vaak terug
- Voorzien en nazin -> “call en response” eerste en tweede gedeelte van een zin
- Periodische zinsbouw -> opbouw van een thema in een voor- en nazin die ieder even
lang zijn en ook weer op te delen in 2 gelijke delen.
- Voortspinning: het herhalen van een motief (soms op andere toonhoogte) op zo’n manier
dat er een ononderbroken melodische stroom bestaat zonder rustpunt.
10. Compositie technieken
- Eenstemmig: 1 partij, solo -> 1 persoon, unisolo -> meerdere personen
- Meerstemmig: meerdere stemmen of partijen tegelijk
- 2 soorten: 1. Homofonie-> zelfde ritme, andere stem
2. Polyfonie -> ander ritme, andere stem
- Tegenstem: stem die tegen de melodie ingaat en nadrukkelijk anders is dan de andere
stem
- Doorimitatie: compositietechniek waarbij het imiteren van een melodie in andere
stemmen voor een langere tijd doorgaat.
