Event management is a company that develop events small and large such as business events
The role of an event organizer is to plan any event. Event organizers are responsible for the
production of events from the beginning to the end.
Organizers need to set objectives for the events and plan the event so that they know how
long it will take for the event to be completed.
Setting objectives for an event, increases the chances of the event leading to a success of
the event in which the event organizer, will have organizational procedures to follow which will
insist the event organizers to specify the roles that members have in developing the event.
They also need to ensure that every member of the team is clear on what their task as it will
increase the productivity and can get things done faster.
They also need to ensure that the members of the team are on track by monitoring them and
their tasks and reviewing them to see what they need to develop.
Event organizers are also responsible for the organizing the venue, location, and catering. The
organizer of the event needs to ensure that they choose the right venue for instance if there is
going to be people with disabilities attending the event, the organizer must ensure that they
have access to disabled parking, toilets, tables and transport, so that the journey to the event
will not be so difficult for them. They also need to ensure that disabled people perhaps attend
a bit earlier than anyone else so that they are provided with the best service. In terms of
catering, the organizer of the event must ensure that they are aware of any food allergy that
attendees may have that. Food must be labeled to make it so that people are aware of what
is being offered to them.
The organizer is also responsible for planning and reserving facilities. Without a plan, the event
will be less likely to be successful. This could result to a negative reputation of the organization
which will affect its revenue as they could lose the internet of potential clients. Therefore,
planning an event beforehand, can lead to success and it can also reduce stress that the
organizer may have.
Event organizers are responsible for planning the event to ensure that it is successful, and that
clients and attendees are satisfied. The organizer of the event must consider facilities such as
toilets, electricity supply so that the venue is warm depending on the weather condition, water
supply, facilities of waste and recycling, parking, public transport and fencing for protection.
