(Van rostral naar caudaal)
In het ruggenmerg lopen sensorische en motorische zenuwen → zijn er 31. Langs het ruggenmerg lopen “bolletjes”: dorsale
wortel ganglionen (zenuwknop) → hier liggen cellichamen van sensorische neuronen.
Ruggenmerg:
- Witte stof (axonen (myeline)) → aan de buitenkant
- Grijze stof (cellichamen) → in het midden
- Meningen → vliezen (liggen buitenop, om weefsel)
(bij hersenen ligt witte stof binnen en grijze buiten)
Ruggenmerg heeft een dorsale column & dorsale horn en ventrale
column & ventrale horn. In de ventrale horn liggen de cellichamen van de
motorneuronen. Lichamen van interneuronen zitten in de dorsale horn.
Afferent/ascerend → brengt het naar de hersenen. Efferent/descerend
→ komt terug van de hersenen.
Myeline kleuren om te kijken waar de witte stof is en Nissl kleuring om
grijze stof te kleuren (kleurt cellichamen).
HERSENSTAM
- Middenhersenen: regulatie beweging; visuele & auditieve reflexen
- Pons: brug tussen grote en kleine hersenen; evenwicht
- Medulla: brein-ruggenmerg connectie; pyramide kruizing (kruispunt voor de
hersenzenuwen); regelt o.a. ademhaling en hartslag
(andere zenuwen kruizen in ruggenmerg)
Functies:
- Target en bron van hersenzenuwen
- Kruispunt voor deze hersenzenuwen
- Reticulaire formatie: belangrijk voor bewustzijn en regulatie hiervan.

- Penducles: bundels tussen cerebrum en
