Summary
Bilbo Baggins is planning his birthday; he is very old and tired. Unexpectedly,
Gandalf appears with disturbing news. During the conversation with Bilbo, he
tells him that the ring he has is the One Ring, the most important of all, and
possessing incredible power. The forces of evil have been reborn in Mordor
and Sauron wants to acquire the ring to take over the world. Gandalf cannot
let that happen. The ring must be destroyed quickly. The ring. Bilbo entrusts
the ring to his relative - Frodo, to make him go to Mordor to destroy the ring.
Frodo and Sam set off immediately on a dangerous journey. Frodo's friends
Merry and Pippin are also going with them. The meeting place with Gandalf is
to be the inn in Bree, where they meet a person who will protect them from
then on. At night, an attack on the tavern takes place, forcing travelers to flee.
They reach Riwendell, where Gandalf is already there. The Fellowship of the
Ring is taking shape and will be responsible for destroying the Ring in the Rift
of Doom in Mordor. They traverse the Misty Mountains, the mines of Moria,
and reach the kingdom of Garadiela. At the Rauros Falls, the Fellowship of the
Ring splits up, and Sam and Frodo set out on their own. They are accompanied
by Gollum, who cannot live without the Ring. Meanwhile, Merry and Pippin are
kidnapped by the orcs, and the rest of the Fellowship comes to their rescue.
They meet Gandalf, who has become the White, a more powerful wizard. They
go to Gondor to gather their strength before finally fighting evil. The great
battle begins at the gates of Mordor, on which everything depends.
Meanwhile, in Mordor, Sam carries Frodo on his back, and Gollum
accompanies them all the time. They reach the Rift of Destiny, there Gollum
bites off Frodo's finger and falls into the fire. Evil is defeated. They return to
the Team, then everyone returns home.

The first page of your book
The first page of this book begins with Bilbo Baggins announcing his "eleventy-
first" birthday. We have an insight into his past. We also learn that he is rich
because he has brought back many treasures from his travels. He has become
a kind of local legend. Many people envied him his "eternal" youth and wealth.
The first page only describes Bilbo's past and has little to do with the main
story or theme of this book.
