- Gerealiseerde oplossing: “Sanivation” leverde 20.000 mensen in Kenia duurzame
toiletten. Sanivation haalt wekelijks de uitwerpselen op door 98 lokale arbeiders
o Sanivation wil uitwerpselen uitbaten: Men behandelt de uitwerpselen met
technologie:
§ Zonnekracht doodt ziektekiemen,
§ Gemengd met boerderijmest
§ Het eindproduct is gedroogde fecaliën à vervanger van houtskool
met lagere uitstoot dan kooldioxide + brandt 3 keer langer dan
houtskool => elke 1000 kg van dit bespaart 88 bomen
