INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES:
1. Open-book and online assessment; no group work allowed.
2. A completed and signed ‘Assignment submittal and identification sheet’ must be
included as the first page of your assignment.
3. All the questions must be answered in your own hand writing (or typed) and in the
correct numerical order. Show all units and calculations and make valid assumptions.
4. Write neatly and clearly. Avoid unclear pictures, make sure the assignment is clear
to read and properly compiled or scanned using appropriate software.
5. Submit the assignment on eThuto via Safe Assign or per e-mail as a single pdf
document or zip-folder before 14:00 on the scheduled assessment date.
6. A maximum of 3 attempts for submission via Safe Assign are allowed. You will be
able to view your Safe Assign originality report/plagiarism score, which must be
limited to <20%.
