Vanuit de Avans Hogeschool te Breda is er een opdracht gestart die gaat over het openen van een
nieuwe vestiging van de winkelketen HEMA in Zweden. Er moest een communicatiestrategie worden
ontwikkeld die rust op basis van onderzoek naar de gewenste identiteit, de werkelijke identiteit, het
gewenst imago en het werkelijk imago. Hiervoor is een enquête afgenomen onder 44 (potentiële)
HEMAbezoekers. Om tot een uitvoerbaar plan te komen, is er aan de hand van een DESTEP-analyse
verdiept in de Zweedse gewoontes, cultuur, normen en waarden.
