Information management = IM = Het gaat niet alleen om het beheer van de
hardware en software. Het gaat ook over de bedrijfsprocessen. Die moeten
goed op elkaar worden afgestemd. Dus belangrijk om zowel de technische
kant als de bedrijfskundige kant te bekijken.
- Topics 1: business-IT alignement. Omdat technologie steeds
veranderd, veranderd de vraag binnen alignement ook
- Topics 2: enterprise resource planning = ERP. Idee is dat je een
systeem hebt die elk bedrijfsproces van een bedrijf kan automatiseren. SAPP maakt
informatiesystemen voor elke tak binnen het bedrijf. Bedrijfsbrede informatiesystemen die
alle processen kunnen automatiseren.
- Topic 3: business process modeling. Bedrijfsprocessen en bedrijfsmodelleren. Belangrijk om
op een technische manier naar het bedrijf te kijken.
