,Inleiding
Ik loop sinds september stage bij het FACT-jeugdteam van moederbedrijf Jarabee. FACT Jeugd is een
samenwerking tussen Jarabee, Ambiq, Mediant en Jeugd GGZ Dimence. Deze organisaties zijn samen
deskundig op het gebied van opvoeden, opgroeien en behandeling voor licht verstandelijk
beperkten, psychiatrische stoornissen of psychische problemen. FACT-jeugd richt zich in de kinder-
en jeugdpsychiatrie op herstel in het cliëntsysteem en het weer in beweging brengen van een
(dreigende) stagnerende ontwikkeling op verschillende levensgebieden. De leden van het FACT-
jeugdteam stimuleren kinderen, jongeren en hun gezinnen in hun ontwikkeling op het gebied van
onder andere persoonlijke identiteit, sociale contacten, school of werk en vrije tijd. Daarbij staat het
benutten en versterken van de eigen kracht en de mogelijkheden voor ontwikkeling centraal, in
plaats van de ziekteverschijnselen (Hendriksen-Favier, 2013).
