Urinewegstelsel 1/2:
Het urinewegstelsel speelt een rol b het in stand houden van de hoeveelheid en
samenstelling van vloeistoffen in het lichaam.
Daarnaast verzorgen de nieren en b nieren de productie van enkele belangr ke
hormonen.
Vanuit de nier wordt urine getransporteerd naar de blaas door de peristaltiek in de
urineleiders (Ureters).
De Urine wordt via een klepmechanisme richting blaas geknepen.
De plaats waar de urineleiders uitmonden in de blaas heet de ''blaasbodem''.
Hier bevinden zich spieren die het terugstromen van urine tegengaan.
Maar ook het registreren dat de blaas gevuld is en het plassen (Mictie) op gang
brengen.
In de blaasbodem gaat de blaaswand via de blaashals over in de urinebuis (Urethra),
waarlangs de urine afgevoerd wordt naar buiten.
Een spiermechanisme zorgt ervoor dat de mictie willekeurig plaats kan vinden.
We kunnen hierop dus invloed uitoefenen.
Urinewegstelsel 2/2:
De urinebuis b een vrouw is 3 tot 5 cm.
De urinebuis loopt recht naar benede.
De opening van de urinebuis (plasgaatje of meatus) bevinct zicht tussen de
schammlippen (Vulva) tussen de clitoris en de vaginale opening.
B de vrouw is het risico groot dat bacterien, die van nature in de endeldarm leven, in
de urethra terchtkomen en zo een urineweg infectie veroorzaken.
