The institution created is called Super University. This school is a traditional private four-
year degree granting university founded in the early eighteen hundreds that leads in private
research. Super University is located in the heart of South Central Los Angeles, and receives
approximately 60,000 applicants in the fall semester annually. Of those applicants, the university
has about a 13 percent acceptance rate of students from diverse backgrounds and demographics.
The university has approximately 50,000 enrollments that consist of undergraduates, graduates,
and other professional students.
The mission of the university runs deep and simply put encompasses the betterment of
the human race. This goal is achieved by embracing a holistic approach to the human mind and
spirit. There is a significant amount of services dedicated to the student’s mental health and
wellbeing, as the university strives to achieve excellence in teaching and professional
development. To spearhead this effort, the student affairs department does an excellent job by
providing select mental health services to students.
