Summary :
After winning the 74th Hunger Games, along with Peeta Mallark, Katniss and Peeta return
home to district 12, the poorest sector in the country of Panem.
Six months later, on the day that Katniss and Peeta going to start a "Victory Tour" of the
country, president Snow visits Katniss unexpectedly and tells her that her acts of defiance in
the previous Hunger Games have inspired rebellion in the districts. Snow claims that she
must convince the people on the tour that she was acting out of love for Peeta, not against
the Capitol, or else her entire family and her best friend Gale will be executed.
The first stop from the Victory Tour is District 11, the district of Rue. They tell the district
their love story and then they continue visiting all of the other districts.
Later in a interview in the Capitol Peeta proposes to Katniss and she accepts.
Shortly after returning to District 12, Katniss accidentally discovers that an rebellion has
broken out in District 8. Meanwhile, District 12 has been overrun with new Peacekeepers,
the gards of Snow. They punish or kill everyone who’s breaking the Capitol's rules.
Later, Katniss meets two persons from District 8, Bonnie and Twill. They tell her that they are
going to district 13 because district 8 is destroyed by the Capitol. But they aren’t shure if
there is a district 13.
Later the Capitol makes an announcement for the 75th Hunger Games, or the third "Quarter
Quell". It is announced, as part of a special twist to every Quarter Quell, that the tributes will
be selected from the surviving victors of previous years. Katniss realizes she has to return to
the arena, and either Peeta or Haymitch also have to go back in the Games a second time.
