Promotional Mix
-Promotional mix is one of the 4p’s from the marketing mix. It’s a combination of different
methods which are used for a product or service in order for it to allow a business to sell
their products or their service. The main elements of the promotional mix consist of
advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations, sponsorship and direct
marketing.
Advertising
-Advertising is a promotional method in which businesses use to promote their business
service or products, the main purpose of this method is to grab the customers attention
which could possibly lead to a purchase.
Personal Selling
-Personal selling is a promotional method in which a business's employee who is trained
goes to the public to promote a product/service, the order to achieve this the employee
must have a positive attitude and persuasive language to draw in potential customers.
Sponsorship
-Sponsorship is when a business pays another business that has a bigger customer/fan base
I.e., a professional football team who promote your businesses brand logo in on
advertisement boards in and around their stadium.
Direct marketing
-Direct marketing is when a business promotes their product /service directly towards the
public. A business can use different ways in doing this for example posting leaflets into letter
boxes or sending out discount vouchers via email.
Product
-Product refers to service or goods in which a company offers to their customers. Ideally the
product must meet the customers' demands or the product must be appealing towards the
customers so it can create a new demand.

of promoting a product us to reveal to the businesses customers as to why they need the

-People are the most important element of any service or experience as the services tend to
be produced and consumed at the same moment, people have an important role in service
delivery, they are relied upon to deliver and maintain transactional marketing and people
play an important part in the customer relationship.
Process
-Process refers to the processes which are involved in the method of delivering your
products or services to the customers. Having a secure process in place ensure that your
business repeatedly delivers the same standard of service to your customers
Price
-Price is the cost in which consumers pay for a product. The business must link the prices to
the products real and perceived value, but the business must also consider the costs of the
supplies to create the product.
Physical evidence
-The physical evidence is the element of marketing mix refer to the physical environment
experienced by the customer.
