, Voorwoord
Mijn naam is Josee Vleugel, 46 jaar, geboren en nog steeds woonachtig in Oudenbosch. Na
het afronden van mijn middelbare school ben ik in 1993 naar de politieschool Heerlen
gegaan en heb daar de HPO opleiding voor politieagent gevolgd. Tussen 1993 en 2014 ben
ik dan ook werkzaam geweest bij de politie Midden-en West Brabant. Hier heb ik diverse
functies bekleed als milieuspecialist, jeugdagent en hondengeleider. Vervolgens heb ik de
overstap gemaakt naar de Inspectiedienst Dierenbescherming, waar ik als districtsinspecteur
werkzaam ben geweest. Dit werk hield in het verbeteren van het welzijn van dieren naar
aanleiding van meldingen en bedrijfscontroles. Bij ernstige overtredingen het opmaken van
een proces-verbaal of het via bestuursrecht afdwingen van verbetering. Na in 2007 een
ernstig ongeval te hebben gehad waardoor ik 80-100% ben afgekeurd in verband met PTSS,
heb ik besloten te beginnen met de opleiding HBO Rechten om na mijn volledige revalidatie
weer aan het werk te gaan met als voorkeur weer binnen de politieorganisatie.
Ik heb in mijn werkzaamheden altijd met recht te maken gehad en vind dit nog steeds erg
interessant. Ik heb dan ook, in overleg met het UWV, bewust voor de opleiding HBO
Bachelor Rechten, via E-learning, gekozen om mij op dit vlak breder te ontwikkelen en na
mijn re-integratie weer binnen deze sector aan het werk te gaan.
Deze opdracht is ter afsluiting van Fase 1 van de opleiding HBO Bachelor Rechten.
