Introduction
As an assignment by Inholland University Rotterdam, research has been done on the
company Verhage. This is a franchise restaurant chain that has restaurants all over the
province South-Holland. The aim of this research is to understand the current situation of
Verhage and in this way increasing the turnover of Verhage and improving the customer
experience. To realize this goal, we analyzed the current situation of Verhage. We
researched the company, markets, products, competitors and the customers. We started
with the current situation (IST) to create a desired situation (SOLL). To achieve this SOLL
situation, we made an overview of the mission, vision, strategy, objectives, customer
segments, and the marketing strategy. After this research was completed we gave Verhage
some proposals to implement some new policies into the organization. Verhage can use
these proposals to increase their customer centricity and to improve the customer journey.
