Present simple < > Present perfect
Je gebruikt de present simple als iets altijd, nooit of regelmatig gebeurt. In de zin staan
dan vaak de woorden: always, never often, usually, regularly, sometimes, hardly ever. (deze
woorden komen voor de persoonsvorm!)
Je gebruikt de present perfect als je wilt zeggen dat:
1. iets is gebeurd en het niet belangrijk is wanneer
2. iets in het verleden is begonnen en het nog steeds doorgaat (for, in, since)
3. iets in het verleden is gebeurd waarvan je nu het resultaat ziet
4. iets net of nog niet is gebeurd (just, lately, recently, yet)
Present simple: Present perfect: have / has + ed
I live in London. I have lived in London for one year.
He works in Mumbai. He has worked in Mumbai since 2015.
She doesn’t know him well. She hasn’t known him for a long time yet.
