Reflectie verslagBeroepsrol: Gezondheidsbevorderaar.
Mijn begeleider en ik hadden een zaal onder hoede. Voordat een van de patiënten naar huis ging
uitte de echtgenote haar ontevredenheid over het zorgbeleid. Mevrouw gaf aan zeer overstuur en
kwaad te zijn en dat kwam ook zo over. Er lag nog een patiënt op de zaal die aanwezig was tijdens
dit gesprek. Mevrouw kon niet weglopen van het gesprek doordat ze dan heel draaierig werd en zat
er dus langere tijd bij.
Na een bepaalde tijd trok de patiënt het niet meer om bij het gesprek te zijn en wilde ze toch de zaal
uit, maar werd meteen na het verlaten van de zaal onwel en dreigde flauw te vallen. Toen zij weer
terug in bed lag heb ik de situatie met haar besproken. Ze gaf aan dat ze het emotioneel heel zwaar
vond om aanwezig te zijn tijdens het gesprek en dat ze er erg gespannen van werd.
Objectief: Patiënt werd onwel en viel bijna flauw. Vond het emotioneel zwaar om in de zaal
aanwezig te zijn (gaf zij zelf aan en is dus geen interpretatie) doordat een echtgenote zeer kwaad en
overstuur ontevredenheid uitte (dit gaf zij zelf aan en is dus geen interpretatie).
Subjectief: Ik ben niet tevreden over mijn eigen gedrag tijdens deze situatie. Zeker aangezien ik niet
zo veel mocht zeggen tegen de echtgenote had ik om me heen kunnen kijken en om de rest van de
patiënten kunnen denken. Verder voelde ik me erg naar na dit scenario, omdat ik het gevoel had dat
deze situatie voorkomen had kunnen worden (preventie, gezondheidsbevorderaar).
Eigen aandeel: Ik mocht tijdens het gesprek met de echtgenote niet teveel zeggen van de begeleider,
maar ik heb wel het gesprek gevoerd met de andere patiënt na het onwel worden.
