De mens 3 hoorcollege 4: eiwitsynthese kan bord niet zien op college, wordt getekend.Het DNA bevindt zich in de kern van een cel. Eitwitten worden in het cytoplasma, het gecodeerde
DNA moet dus naar cytoplasma kunnen. DNA is ongeveer 2 meter per cel, helemaal opgerold met in
het midden de centromeer met 4 telomeren (p arm = kort en q arm = lang). DNA bestaat uit
nucleotiden (ATCG), deze zorgen ervoor dat de
dubbele helix ontstaat. 1 nucleotide bestaat uit
een fosfaatgroep, desoxyribose en een
nucleinebase (4 soorten).
De TA is altijd een specifieke binding, dit heeft te
maken met waterstofbruggen (2). Ook GC is een
specifieke binding, kunnen 3 waterstofbruggen.
Een C kan niet met een C bijvoorbeeld wat een
combinatie moet altijd 3 ringen hebben.
2 rings = dubbele N ring = purina = adenine en
guanine
1 rings = enkele N ring = pyrimidines = thymine
en cytosine.
Bij celdeling verdubbel je het DNA, celorganellen
mitose en meiose.
De verdubbeling van het DNA 1 streng wordt 2
DNA replicatie. Hierbij spelen verschillende
enzymen een rol.
Bij een replicatie heb je een moeder en twee
dochterstrengen. Ook heb je een leading ( 3 5)
en lagging strand. Je begint met lezen bij 3 en
maken bij 5. Leading strand gaat in een keer en
lagging in stukjes (okazaki fragmenten)
- - helicase: zorgt ervoor dat dubbele
helix vorm eruit gaat en zorgt ervoor dat
helix streng geknipt wordt van elkaar.
- Primase: zorgt ervoor dat een beginnetje
wordt gemaakt.
- DNA polymerase III: zorgt ervoor dat het
DNA gekopieerd wordt. Gaat opzoek naar
primer (primase) tot stop.
