Wij hebben gepoogd een raamwerk voor leiderschap te ontwikkelen.
Het kiezen van voorbeelden uit het leven van Gandhi was een uitdaging. Er zijn zoveel voorbeelden
om uit te kiezen. Wij hebben voorbeelden gekozen waarvan we voelden dat ze gemakkelijk en
duidelijk opgemaakt kunnen worden voor de lezer. Er zijn sterkere voorbeelden, maar zij zouden
uitgebreide uitleg moet vereisen over de omstandigheden in India en de stijl van leven.
De kwaliteiten die Gandhi belichaamde zijn persoonlijke verantwoordelijkheid, waarheid,
liefde, respect voor het individu, moed, zijn vooral in ons werk en in ons sociale leven van
toepassing.
We hebben allemaal leidersrollen hebben, van directeuren en topmanagers tot ouders en leraren
die de kans krijgen en plicht hebben om de wereld te beïnvloeden. Een positief invloed hebben op
de levens van anderen.
