Ecologie
Het milieu heeft invloed op organismen, maar ook andersom. Het deel van de biologie dat de
betrekkingen tussen organismen en mileu onderzoekt heet ecologie.
De invloeden die afkomstig zijn van de levende natuur zijn biotische factoren en van de
levenloze zijn abiotische factoren. Alle abiotische factoren noem je een biotoop. Een gebied
waar biotische én abiotische factoren een rol spelen is een ecosysteem.
Het is belangerijk dat je weet op welk niveau je
zit:
Individu =één organisme
Populatie =groep individuen
Levensgemeenschap =verschillende
populaties in een bepaald gebied

Voedselrelaties
Je hebt planteneters en vleeseters, allebei zitten ze in een voedselketen. Een voedselketen is
een reeks soorten waarbij elke soort een voedselbron is voor de volgende soort. Het geheel van
al die voedselrelaties in een ecosysteem noem je een voedselnet/web.
Producenten =planten leveren voedsel voor
ander organisme
Consumenten =dieren eten die stoffen
1e orde =de producenten worden gegeten
door 1e orde, die worden weer opgegeten
door de 2e orde.
Dode resten worden door afvaleters
opgegeten.
De resten die de afvaleters dan weer
achterlaten worden gegeten door de
reducenten; bacteriën en schimmels.
Al deze stoffen maken de kringloop mee.
