GENERAL MECHANISM
Na propvorming; bloedstolling: stollingsfactoren worden in een proces
geactiveerd (coagulatie)
1. Cascade (proces dat in stappen verloopt) van chemische reacties in het
bloed waarbij heel veel bloed coagulatie factoren bij betrokken zijn:
complex van geactiveerde stoffen ontstaat: protrombineactivator
2. Protrombineactivator > protrombine in bloedplasma wordt omgevormd tot
actief trombine
3. Trombine katalyseert de vorming van fibrinedraden uit fibrinogeen:
fibrinedraden dichten de vaatbeschadiging: verstrikken bloedplaatjes,
bloedcellen en plasma
Procoagulantia: stoffen die bloedstolling stimuleren
Anticoagulantia: stoffen die bloedstolling tegengaan
Stolling van het bloed; hangt af van balans tussen deze factoren > normaal: de
balans helt over naar anticoagulantia zodat het bloed vloeibaar wordt gehouden
