- Als je een standpunt inneeemt, heb je een mening over die kwestie. met
een argument verdedig je dat standpunt of val je het aan.
- Feitelijke argument= Feitelijke uitspraken ter ondersteuning van je
standpunt.
- Waarderend argument= Een waarderende uitspraak geeft aan of iets
bv goed of slecht of mooi of lelijk is.
- Over een waarderend argument kan je van mening verschillen> Over
feitelijk argument niet, je kan de juistheid controleren.
- Een waarderend argument moet vaak ondersteund worden, met bv
feiten.
Tegenargument/weerlegging
- Als je het niet eens bent met iemands argument, kun je argumenten
tegen het standpunt inbrengen en/of weerleggingen van de argument
geven.
- Met een tegenargument ontkracht je een standpunt.
- Met een weerlegging ontkracht je een argument.
- Denk aan het schrijven van een betoog: je hebt 2 argumenten voor, dan
een tegenargument en dat tegenargument ga je weerleggen.

- Enkelvoudige argumentatie= 1 argument ondersteund het standpunt.
- Onderschikkende argumentatie= 1 argument wordt ondersteund door
een ander argument.
- Nevenschikkende argumentatie met onafhankelijke argumenten; 2
of meer argumenten ondersteunen onafhankelijk van elkaar het
standpunt.
- Nevenschikkende argumentatie met afhankelijke argumenten; 2
ondersteunende argumenten vormen in combinatie met elkaar het
standpunt.
