- Last night the BBC broadcast a report that dealt with environmental awareness in the
hospitality industry. Our organization was mentioned and criticized severely. As a result a lot
of viewers have left messages on our website criticizing our policy to serve different kinds of
bottled water.
- We are here today to discuss possible decisions with regards to bottled water for guests and
for staff.
- Do we keep the water menu, do we change it or shall we eliminate it altogether? And above
that, we should try to find a way on how to deal with all this negative publicity.
- The result of the discussion will give a good sight on what we should change or not change
regarding the water bottles for guests and staff.
- Let’s move on to the agenda of our meeting, to make sure we cover everything necessary.

Currently we have a catering contract with ISS offering bottled water to all guests. They even have a
full water menu, from which guests can select their favorite water brand. Guests have been very
happy with such a convenient and elegant bottle of water in their hotel room/in the restaurant.
Another part of the contract involves water menus for all staff.
