Te lange schooldagenh
Wij hebben meerdere dagen dat we van 08:10 tot 16:30 naar school moeten. Daar bovenop
ook nog huiswerk en leren voor toetsen. Dat vind ik echt te veel!!
Uit onderzoek is gebleken, dat veel scholieren last hebben van een slaaptekort. Doordat ze
laat naar bed gaan en vroeg op moeten staan om naar school te gaan. Terwijl ze lastig in
slaap vallen. De gevolgen daarvan zijn dat veel leerlingen concentratieproblemen hebben en
dus slechtere prestaties opleveren. Het blijkt ook dat jongere die later beginnen, betere
schoolprestaties hebben.
Ik merk dat op dagen dat ik zo vroeg moet beginnen. Dat ik gewoon de hele dag moe ben en
als ik dan tot zo laat op school zit. Ben ik tegen de tijd dat ik thuis ben helemaal uitgeput. Ik
heb dan geen zin meer om te sporten of nog huiswerk te maken. Onze engels docent zei: ‘’
School is voor jullie eigenlijk gewoon een fulltime baan. ‘’ en dat klopt eigenlijk wel, alleen
krijgen we niet betaald en kost het alleen maar geld. We zitten 42 uur per week op school en
dat is nog zonder huiswerk en leren.
Dus uit onderzoek blijkt, dat leerlingen die later beginnen betere prestaties opbrengen. En
dat school voor ons gewoon bijna een fulltime baan is. Mijn klasgenoten zijn het met me
eens, dat dit te lange schooldagen zijn!!
