4 types weefsel

Bindweefsel is overal in ons lichaam en is het meest voorkomend/ wijdverspreid type weefsel.
Samenstelling: cellen (fibroblasten en andere), vezels en grondsubstantie (extracellulaire matrix)
Functies;
Verbind lichaamsstructuren (organen, fascia)
Ondersteunt het lichaam, ‘vorm’
Biedt bescherming, wondherstel/ ontstekingsreactie.
Losmazig bindweefsel
Areolair (fascia), vet, reticulair
Straf (vormvast) bindweefsel
Regelmatig, onregelmatig en elastisch.
Vooral bepaald door verhouding collageen en elastine.
Losmazig bindweefsel: areolair
,Losmazig areolaire bindweefsel
Areolair bindweefsel: Het meest verspreide bindweefsel. Zacht, plooibaar weefsel. Bevat alle
vezeltypes. Kan overtollige vloeistof opzuigen.
Losmazig bindweefsel: vet
Losmazig bindweefsel vetweefsel: Matrix is een areolair weefsel waarin vetbolletjes overheersen.
Veel cellen bevatten grote vetophopingen
Functies: Isolatie van het lichaam. Beschermt sommige organen. Functie: brandstofopslag en
stootkussen.
Losmazig Bindweefsel: reticulair
• Losmazig bindweefsel
– Reticulair: lymfestelsel (lymfeklieren, beenmerg, milt)
Vormvast bindweefsel (dicht regelmatig, dicht onregelmatig, onregelmatig, elastisch). Alle uit
ontwikkeld bindweefsel, met uitzondering van bot, kraakbeen, bloed.

In de extracellulaire matrix maken we onderscheid tussen een amorfe component en de
bindweefselvezels. De amorfe component (= de grondsubstantie) bestaat uit een gel van
proteoglycanen, koolhydraat (glycosaminoglycanen) en eiwitmoleculen (glycoproteïnen) waarin
de vezels liggen ingebed.
