4.1 OriëntatieVraag: Hoe kwamen in Rusland de communisten aan de macht, en welke
gevolgen had dat voor de Russische samenleving?
Lenin spreekt
Vladimir Lenin - leidt groep communisten - 1917
Mensen die niet aan zijn kant staan worden overgehaald, mensen die wel aan
zijn kant staan worden opgezweept.
Moskou: hier spreekt Lenin bij demonstraties 4x per dag, op verschillende
plekken in de stad. Hij spreekt over communistische revoluties en
kapitalistische vijanden die de vrijheid van boeren en arbeiders willen
afnemen.
Vijanden bedreigen Petrograd (voormalige hoofdstad Rusland), dus Lenin
besluit dat Moskou de hoofdstad wordt.
Tot 1713 werd Rusland bestuurd vanuit het Moskouse Kremlin =
regeringscentrum vol paleizen en kerken. Toen lieten de tsaar en patriarch
hun macht daar zien, nu sprak Lenin daar.
In dit hoofdstuk
Rusland werd een lange tijd bestuurd door Tsaren, die bevel gaven gebieden te
veroveren om zo groter en machtiger te worden. Kritische mensen werden
verbannen naar afgelegen gebieden.
Na 1917 werd Rusland bestuurd door communisten, maar van gelijkheid kwam
niks terecht. Want een kleine groep machthebbers dwong de bevolking te
gehoorzamen, en stuurde tegenstanders naar concentratiekampen.
