Daar is drie tye wat in Afrikaans getoets word: teenwoordige, verlede en toekomende.
Wanneer jy sinne se tye verander, verander jy die werkwoord. Die res van die sin bly dieselfde.
When you change tenses, you only change the verbs in Afrikaans. The remainder of the sentence
stays unchanged.
Teenwoordige Tyd (Present Tense):
Kyk vir woorde soos: vandag, nou, deesdae
Verlede Tyd (Past Tense):
Kyk vir woorde soos: gister, daardie dag/week, destyds, gelede, onlangs
Toekomende Tyd (Future Tense):
Kyk vir woorde soos: more, volgende, oor ‘n rukkie, binnekort
Reëls:
1. Gewone Werkwoord (regular verb)
Add “het” and “-ge” before the verb in past tense.
Add “sal” in future tense.
