P3: Explain how to plan a small``-scale health education campaign relevant to the local
or the national health strategies.
Cannabis health campaign plan:
When beginning our health campaign we sat down in order to come up with a plan. We
discussed how we were aiming to do the activity arrange. We all chose what point was
for our campaign. This was to raise mindfulness on the lawful status and impacts of
cannabis. In turn we came up with a broader objective to decrease admissions of
cannabis in our peers.
Objectives- we used 3 goals to break down our point into reasonable sections:
Changing lifestyle to meet points of our campaign we would have to change a per-
son's way of life particularly to form impact long term. We as
a group needed to provide back to people who would like to change the sum of cannabis
they are taking, or make themselves stop inside and out. To do this we would put
helplines into the presentation so that individuals who need to stop or drug depend-
ent can get professional assistance. Example: The Straight to the point helpline.
Wellbeing related learning to be able to raise mindfulness approximately the all-encom-
passing effects on cannabis. We set an objective to educate them of the legitim-
ate status of cannabis within the UK. In addition we needed to give our audience
and outline of the changes of the legitimate status of cannabis around the world, since
a part of nations are presently authorizing it.
Changes conduct/ states of mind is our final objective. This was to change behaviour
and state of mind of our peers. To do this we would need
to address unconcerned/ insensible state of minds towards cannabis and aim to
reduce admissions. Once we are able to understand why individuals are taking
cannabis we would be able to target the critical objectives we discussed about in our
campaign.
Approaches we will use:
One Approach we are going to be analysing in our campaign is mass media. This
includes inquire about that we'll uses to put together our campaign. This includes the
helplines we are going be giving gathering of people with.
Pamphlets will be given out in order to provide people with the background and relevant
information. This will include the short and long term effects, as well as some of the
advantages noted by doctors. The two main ways we will be utilizing within the health
campaign is two-way communication and peer- driven approaches. The investigation will
provide us with evidence centred around the mindset of individuals aged 16-20. Our aim
is for this to open up floor for a discussion. On the day, we will also give those that have
attended the opportunity to enquire and ask questions. The reason for this, is to engage
our audience. Through doing this, it should make everyone involved feel more
comfortable as well as educating them. Due to those involved in the campaign being of

similar ages to the target audience, we aim for the information to be received a lot
better than if it was being delivered by someone much older.
Cost- Since cannabis is unlawful within UK we were not arranging to purchase anything
sample astute since it would be untrustworthy. And would go against the point for our
campaign. In any case toward the conclusion of our campaign we chosen we would have
CBD water (hemp water) tests from Sainsburys. This was secured by the Wellbeing and
social care division so did not influence the bunch specifically since we did not pay for it
out of our possess cash. The as it were thing that affected the taken a toll that we had to
take into thought was printing. The blurbs, the surveys and pamphlets would require
each of us to spend our print credit.
What materials we have to be carry out campaign:
Paper A3 & A4 coloured and white paper
Paint, highlighters, stick, blue tack, pens and felt tips
A computer and get to a printer
Music
(what) tasks to induce prepare for campaign- these are all thing we have to be do to
be completely arranged for our wellbeing campaign Research

> we require a input survey from our gathering of people to discover out what
they thought of our introduction as a whole.
