, Origen: La galea aponeurótica (aponeurosis epicraneal) cubre la parte superior de
cráneo; por detrás se une entre el intervalo de su unión con los occipitales,
específicamente en la protuberancia occipital externa y en las líneas más altas del
hueso occipital de la nuca; por la frente, forma una corta y pequeña prolongación
entre la unión con los frontales.
Inserción: Porción de las cejas y la glabela.
Acción: Eleva las cejas y arruga la frente.
Origen: Se origina en el borde orbitario medial, cerca del hueso lagrimal,
insertándose en la cara medial de la órbita ósea, por debajo del corrugador
superciliar.
Inserción: Se va encontrar en la porción nasal del hueso frontal y asciende en
dirección lateral para terminar a nivel de la piel de la ceja.
Acción: Su contracción lleva la ceja hacia abajo y en dirección medial.
