Leiders (ondernemers) moeten dagelijks besluiten nemen. Dit kunnen bedrijfs- of
sociaaleconomische beslissingen zijn. Leiders moeten verantwoordelijkheid nemen voor hun
besluiten en dienen daarnaast ook ethisch te handelen.
Ethiek:
Wat is ‘goed’ en ‘kwaad’ in ons gedrag?
Hoe kun je juist handelen (of niet handelen)
Centraal staat de vraag naar wat in concrete situaties het juiste (goede) is om te doen
Wat jij verstaat onder ‘’juist en goed’’ handelen is afhankelijk van jouw eigen moraal.
Moraal:
Iemands perceptie van het juiste. Dit is een samenhang tussen normen en waarden.
Waarden: het uiteindelijke doel dat gerealiseerd wordt door het naleven van bepaalde normen.
Norm: de manier waarop men een (of meerdere) waarde(n) wil realiseren (=gedrag).
