1. Enkele begrippen
Zwangerschapsduur
- Gerekend vanaf de eerste dag van de laatste menstruatie
o 2 weken langer dus dan effectieve zwangerschapsduur.
Gewicht & lengte
- Belangrijk om te weten hoe zwaar en hoe groot baby op een bepaald moment in de
zwangerschap moet zijn.
Groeicurves
- Groei van verschillende lichaamsdelen en gewicht in zijn geheel kan op aflezen.
- Zijn gegroeid in de loop der jaren (curve van Cloosterman gebruikt van jaren 50/60)
- Dankzij echografie een beetje juister geworden !

Afkortingen zoals:
AFKORTING BETEKENIS
BPD Biparietale diameter = breedte van het hoofd
CRL Crown rump length = lengte tussen hoofdtop en stuit (poep)
FL Femur length = lengte bovenbeen
AC Abdominal circumference= omtrek buik
HC Head circumference = omtrek hoofd
Groeicurves werkt met percentielen
Op echografie word datum nooit aangepast !
CRL in eerste weken bij iedereen gelijk !
Gewicht = gemiddelde want verschilt met ras etc.
Op 20 weken baby 350 gram = 10* zo licht als bij de geboorte maar is nu al 25cm lang dus
moet nog maar 2 keer zo ferm groeien.
Femurlengte minder om te onthouden !
