The various agencies involved in major UK incidents and their
roles
In any major UK incident, a number of different agencies are involved in
managing the incident (immediate) and the longer-term effects
(aftermath). Using the table below, identify 6 UK agencies that would be
involved in the management of a major incident and describe what role
they would play by using 2 examples per agency.
Agency 1: police
the police are responsible for preparing a report about what has
happened, they interview witnesses, victims and suspects from
incidents asking questions about what has happened. the

investigations into the incident and securing evidence at
the scene of the incident. At 11:00pm the police raided a
flat on Hagley Road in Birmingham, which was thought to
