, 1. Installatie van de toestellen
1. Bevestig eerst alle kabels aan je toestel:
- Netsnoer
- Patiëntenkabel + plaat/stiftelektoden
- Noodstop (afhankelijk van toestel), zo niet kan je achteraf de intensiteit niet verhogen
2. Instelling van de parameters
- Kies eerst je stroomvorm
- Stel pulsduur, frequentie, stimulatiecyclus in
- Controleer de polariteit van je electroden
- Controleer CC/CV
3. Plaatsing van de elektroden
- Steek electroden in voldoende natte sponsjes, zo niet is het mogelijk dat stroom niet geleidt en de
intensiteit niet kan verhoogd worden
- Bevestig elektroden met hun volledige oppervlakte op de te behandelen plaats en maak deze vast
met bv. velcro banden. Tijdens de behandeling mag het contact met de huid niet verloren gaan, zo
niet krijgt de patiënt een elektrische stroomstoot
4. Verhoog de intensiteit nadat je de instelling van alle parameters hebt gecontroleerd.
5. Uit veiligheid kunnen parameters niet meer veranderd worden, eens het ingestelde programma
loopt. Enkel de intensiteit kan aangepast worden. Wil je toch nog parameters veranderen, dient eerst
de intensiteit uitgezet te worden.
6. Einde behandeling: eerst intensiteit terugdraaien naar o mA, dan pas de elektroden verwijderen,
zo niet krijgt de patiënt een elektrische stroomstoot
